Content on this site is provided for general information about Roux and Co. and its services. Roux and Co. operates remotely within South Africa; our company registration is currently in progress. Quotes and timelines given in conversation or writing take priority over any general statements on this site.
2. Quotes & projects
All projects run on a written quote accepted by you. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins after acceptance of the quote and payment of the agreed deposit. The balance is due before go-live, except where your package terms say otherwise: the Signature Site is paid 40% as a deposit, 30% at design approval and 30% before go-live (Founding Client offer: 50% deposit and 50% before go-live), and a Local Lead Site on Roux Care is paid in two equal halves, the first before go-live and the second 30 days later.
3. Client responsibilities
Timelines assume content, feedback and approvals are provided within a reasonable time. Delays in content or feedback extend delivery dates by the same amount of time. You confirm you own or have rights to all material (text, images, logos) you supply to us.
4. Ownership
Once the final balance is paid, you own your domain and the delivered site files. While you're on Roux Care, we host the site for you. If you leave Roux Care, we hand over the site files so you can host them elsewhere. We may display non-identifiable excerpts or screenshots of delivered work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
5. Support & changes
Each project includes a reasonable period for fixing defects in our build at no charge. New features, content changes and redesigns after launch are quoted separately.
6. Liability & law
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to services or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant project. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
